Getting started
How does the free trial work?
When you sign up you get 30 days of full access to the entire swipe file library, including AI analysis, favourites, collections, and all fun modes. No credit card required. After 30 days, you can upgrade to keep access or stay on the free tier with limited browsing.
Do I need a credit card to sign up?
No. You can start your 30-day trial without entering any payment details. We only ask for a card if you choose to subscribe at the end of the trial.
What can I do on the free tier?
Free users can browse a sample of free posts and a few teasers from the premium library. Full browsing, AI analysis, favourites, collections, swipe mode, and fun modes are reserved for trial and paid users.
How do I activate my account after signing up?
Click the confirmation link in the email we send right after you sign up. You'll be auto-logged in and dropped straight onto the browse page. If the link has expired, hit the "resend confirmation email" button on the login page.
Browsing the library
How do I find posts on a specific topic?
Use the search box at the top of the browse page (matches title, tags, category, and tweet URL), or apply filters by category, tag, or creator. Combine them — e.g. category=launches + tag=meme — to narrow quickly.
What do the filters do?
Category groups posts by format (memes, threads, ads, launches, etc.). Tags are finer-grained themes ("hook", "narrative", "partnership"). Creator filters by the X/Twitter handle the post came from. "This week's drop" shows only posts added in the last 7 days.
What's the difference between sort options?
Newest is by date added. Oldest reverses that. Most saved ranks by total favourites. Most upvoted ranks by community votes. Trending uses recent saves to surface what's hot right now. Shuffle randomises within your filter.
What is "This Week's Drop"?
It's the highlight section at the top of the browse page that surfaces every post added in the last 7 days. Free users see locked placeholders; subscribers can browse all of them.
AI analysis
How does AI analysis work?
Each post has a "why this works" section powered by Claude that breaks down the hook, psychology, visual strategy, and copywriting techniques. It's designed to give you actionable takeaways you can apply to your own campaigns.
Why don't all posts have AI analysis yet?
We run analysis in nightly batches on newly added posts, so very recent additions can take a day or two to populate. Existing posts already have it.
Can I trust the AI's takeaways?
Treat them as a starting point — a structured second opinion. They're useful for spotting the mechanics of a hook or layout, but you'll always know your audience better than the model.
Favourites & collections
What's the difference between favourites and collections?
Favourites is a single, flat list of every post you've saved. Collections are folders you create to organise saved posts by theme, project, or campaign. The same post can sit in your favourites and any number of collections.
How many favourites or collections can I have?
There's no hard cap on either. You can add up to 200 posts to a collection in a single bulk action via the browse page's select mode.
Can I share collections with my team?
Yes. Mark a collection as public and you'll get a shareable URL that anyone (paid or otherwise) can view. Private collections stay invite-only.
Can I export my favourites?
Yes. From the favourites page, hit "Select & organise", pick the posts you want, and use the export action to download a JSON file.
Swipe mode & fun modes
What is swipe mode?
Swipe mode shows posts one at a time, Tinder-style. Swipe right or press → to save to favourites, swipe left or press ← to skip. It's the fastest way to triage a lot of content.
What are fun modes?
Fun modes are alternative ways to discover content: Battle (head-to-head A vs B voting), Roulette (random pick of the day), and Streak (daily one-post-at-a-time habit builder). All are paid-only.
How do battle, roulette, and streak modes work?
Battle pits two random posts side-by-side and asks you to pick a winner — your votes feed into the community ranking. Roulette spins up one random post each visit. Streak gives you exactly one new post per day; come back daily to keep your streak alive.
Are fun modes available on the free tier?
No. Fun modes require an active trial or paid subscription. Free users see them in the nav but get an upsell prompt on entry.
Submitting posts
How do I submit a post?
Paid subscribers can submit via the Submit page — paste the tweet URL, add a title, optional category and tags, and hit submit. We review every submission before it goes into the public library.
What kinds of submissions get approved?
We approve crypto-relevant content with a clear lesson — strong hooks, novel formats, well-engineered launches, memes that landed. Generic shitposts, low-effort copies, or anything outside crypto/marketing gets declined.
Do I get credit for approved submissions?
Yes. Approved posts show your handle on the public detail page so other users can find your other contributions.
Referrals
How do referrals work?
Share your unique referral link. When someone signs up and subscribes through your link, you get credit: 1 free month for monthly referrals or 2 free months for annual referrals. Credits are applied automatically to your next billing cycle.
Where do I find my referral link?
Open the Referrals page from the nav (paid users only). Your link is at the top, with a one-click copy button and a list of pending and rewarded referrals.
When do I get my reward?
Credit is applied as soon as the referred user's first payment clears. Stripe handles the discount on your next invoice automatically — there's nothing you need to do manually.
Account & billing
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. You can cancel your subscription at any time from your billing page. You'll keep full access until the end of your current billing period. No cancellation fees, no hassle.
What's the difference between monthly and yearly?
Monthly is €5/month. Yearly is €50/year (about €4.17/month), saving you 2 months compared to monthly. Both give you the exact same features.
How do I update my payment method?
From your billing page, click "Manage subscription". That opens the Stripe customer portal where you can update your card, change plans, view invoices, or cancel.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
Your favourites, collections, and private notes are saved even after you cancel. If you resubscribe later, everything will be right where you left it.
How do I delete my account?
Go to your Account page and scroll to the bottom. You'll find the delete option there. This permanently removes your account and all associated data.
Troubleshooting
I didn't get my confirmation email
Check your spam folder first — Gmail in particular sometimes routes us there. If it's not there, head to the login page and click "resend confirmation email" with the email you signed up with.
I subscribed but I'm still being asked to upgrade
Stripe webhooks can take 30-60 seconds to apply. Hard-refresh the page (cmd-shift-R / ctrl-shift-R). If you're still gated 5 minutes after a successful payment, email intern@thecryptointern.com with your account email and we'll fix it manually.
The AI analysis didn't generate for a post
AI analysis runs in batches overnight. Brand-new posts can take up to 24 hours to populate. If it's still missing after a day, we'll backfill it on the next run automatically.
